Edith is going through the change (menopause). That has got to be the funniest episode.
I love it when Edith finally gets to tell Archie to... "Stifle, stifile, stifle!"

I love the sounds of your collection! So many classic and funny episodes I remember! With All in The Family, whenever I watch old episodes I always think, wow, I can't believe the things Archie says! LOL!

I always thought she was too good for Archie!
I hated the way he talked to her. Edith deserved so much better!
And how many times she would cry, and he never comforted her.
Archie was such a jerk!
My husband would say to me... "it's just a show!"
And I would say... "I know, but I couldn't stand the way he treated her!"
If my husband ever treated me that way, I'd of left him a long time ago!

I totally agree! She put up with a lot of [email protected]! I always thought Gloria was such a baby, too, and wished Mike, had stood up to Archie more.

I have always collected cookbooks especially when we have a Flea market every six months in our development. The books are brand new and most times are a dollar for hard cover and twenty five cent for paperback. By the end of the day they give them away cheap. Some times you wonder who left the little notes of favorite recipes tucked between the pages or circled recipes on the page. Love the inscriptions in the front page when given as a gift. Many times I want to get rid of some but only move them to a different spot where I can stack them higher. Can always go on the computer to look them up but these are my treasures to keep and hold.

Oh yes, I have my fair share of cookbooks too! I tend to make what I remember from memory, but every now and then it's always nice to be able to pull out one of those old books and make a meal!
