Healthier Baked Goods

  • Replace the eggs with Chia seeds. For each egg called for in the recipe mix 1 Tbs. of ground chia seeds with 3 Tbs. of warm water. Let sit for 10 min. then add the mixture to recipe as directed. Wet chia seeds form a gel like consistency that acts like a binder like eggs. They add heart healthy omega 3 fatty acids and filling fibers. Adds more nutrition into treats without sacrificing flavor.
