Cooked--Yes! The timing is perfect for me. I have been wanting to get rid of some magazines, and DH finally was ready to get rid of some of his also. They will be going to the Friends of the Library. So it's good for everyone--especially ME!

Also, I think it's pretty neat how it is an international undertaking. See how well the ladies manage things? Yay us!

I'll take all the compliments but I have to give also where it's due to the ideas place on an Aussie forum. Obviously it was a household operation just waiting to happen and we were all obviously needing that push to just get started!
Garage sale tomorrow morn, sat, so lets see if I sell anything and what I don't sell will NOT be coming home it will go straight to a Salvation army store

I can't believe I went out shopping with a friend on wed, said oh that's nice, she said by it and all I could think of is NO!! I'm getting rid of stuff.

Go for it girls and maybe we should start saying, buy a new item get rid of an old one....... and who will be the one to get rid of the highest amount of JUNK, I'll send the winner a postcard, oh sorry or will that be now considered junk? LOL

If mice count ...... lol we got rid of 5 a couple months ago.

I've given 3 magazines to the Children's Medical Center waiting room when I was finished.

To add to my first two items are the following.

1 old watch
1 set of stickers from a health fair
2 books
2 blankets
1 throw
7 towels
6 sets of pillow cases
1 old stethoscope
2 curling irons
2 sweaters that I don't wear

A total of 27 items so far.

Thanks for the motivation Bilby and ladies. It is fall here, which is a much better time for me to do indoor cleaning than spring. I'm not going to stop now.

Bilby, a pc from you would not take up much space or be considered junk in my house.

Dual flush toilets are mandatory over here have been for the last 15years, they are wonderful.

At the garage sale I made $33.20 not bad and I only have 7 items left and they will be going to the Salvation army.

ds1 I made go through is car magazines and either throw them in the recycling or pass them onto one of his friends, 6 magazines gone the rest are tidy.

All in all a good weekend ......
how are the rest of you going?
... It'll be a good postcard prize
