I don't like spring cleaning at all but if I had to say my least favorite it would be the refrigerator Ugh! One tip a girlfriend gave me that helps alot is to line the produce bins with paper towels, it catches all those icky drips that you don't discover till you pull the drawer out. I also keep 2 sweater box plastic containers in the frig. and keep odds and ends things in there, much easier to pull out the clear boxes instead of leaning down and looking in the back of the frig. for something. And of course, clean up is much easier too... just pull the plastic boxes out, fill with water and soap and clean and put back in.

Actually, I don't mind cleaning, I'm a wee bit of a perfectionist, but I have to admit I hate cleaning the stove and refrigerator. Before we moved here, I had a self cleaning oven, but this one came with the place and it is a me cleaning oven. Nothing nice about it at all, between the fumes whether it be a cleaner or some ammonia, the mess or anything, it's a horror job. Frig gets cleaned each week, but sometimes you just have to get down and scrub it. BTW "Happy Mother's Day" everyone.

I dislike cleaning wndows, but do love being able to see out of nice, clean ones! Love doing outside work and keeping the yard nice. My son helps me a lot when it comes to that as he likes a well groomed yard also...

The worst thing for me is the fridge.. I despise that job!
I don't like scrubbing walls.. I guess I'm getting too old to do it anymore. Our walls are all white wallpaper, but that's going to change soon. I hate this all white. It was like this when we got it. I like a little color. I'm thinking of doing my living room in a light beige color. Not sure about the bedrooms yet.

All our walls are painted white. I am very tired of white walls.

Minny, I just painted mine a toffee cream and I love it!
My most dreaded spring cleanup job are the screens. They are so hard to do and they never come clean!

I usually take my screens out to the driveway, take a broom & soapy water & scrub them on both sides with the broom, then rinse them off with the hose.

Behind my stove was getting so crummy so I pulled the white wallpaper off & painted it a pretty yellow. I'm thinking of taking the rest of the wallpaper off on the other side & painting that yellow too. It's only papered below the cabinets so won't be much to paint. Why they put white wallpaper all over this place is beyond me.

I can't get some of the screens off my older windows! The kitchen window is another that is truly hard to get off, and then you have to put it back! LOL If I get them off, I will certainly try what you do. Thanks.
