My DH does help out alot. He washes the dishes after dinner. He also helps cleaning the bathrooms. When they are kept clean after showering half the work is done.
He does do the shopping on his own really knows how to shop.
Today He cleaned the carpets with the carpet machine. It cleans with hot water. Been using Zep Carpet and Upholstery cleaning product works great. The house smell so fresh and clean now.

I do all the cooking but He will reheat leftovers to make lunch.
I like yard work but He mows the lawn.
We are both retired so we share our time together.

Will be married 54 years in November glad we are both in good health to get things done everyday in our own home.

My dh has been helping more around the house. He helped today with the shopping. I think he is enjoying it.

In our house there is a divide. Everything related to children, cleaning, cooking, etc, falls to me, whereas everything outside, that is the more manly things such as mowing the lawn, vehicle care, etc, falls to my husband.

It's a balance that we have been practicing since day one (some 24 years now), and so far so good!

My dh hasalways washe d his work clothes and during the winter when he iwas off due to weather he vacaums or does anything I leave a list for. Other wise I did it all. As soon as he retired he took over the wash, vacauming cleaning the kitchen. Since I am now disabled he does everything but cook & helps with that

Usually I have to nag to get help around the house. Since DH is home, he has been helping more. It is nice to come home, dinner is cooked, laundry folded, bed made and dishes washed.

Mine will cook but not do dishes, sweep, mop, do laundry or any of those things.

Mine never changed diapers, folded laundry (or did laundry), not that I would have allowed him to do laundry, cooked, or cleaned.
