I love the idea of bath sundaes, I need to make a few of those too! I was thinking that you could use a red, bath oil bead for the cherry on top.;-)

Hi! I have a recipe for a bath scrub that I love and I use right before I shave and it really helps to cut down on razor burn.

1 cup of sugar
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Mix all ingredients together and apply in circular motions to skin. You can add essential oil if you like.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Cody for the bath scrub recipe, it sounds like it will work.
Do you know if it will keep for very long if you make a lot of it?

Hi! No, I am sorry, Chris. I do not know if it will keep. It is real easy to mix up so I just do one application at a time. If refrigerated, I don't see why it wouldn't keep for several days.
Have a great day!

bath recipes

Here are a few bath recipes that I enjoy:

Bubble Bath: this might sound strange, but it really works!

1/2 cup liquid hand soap
1 cup epsom salts
1 tsp. glycerin

Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container. Shake well before using. Use 1/4-1/3 cup. Pour in running water. This may seperate between uses, so be sure to shake well each time.

Brown Sugar Scrub

2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3-1/2 cup sweet almond oil
1/2 tsp. vitamin E oil
Mix well and store in an airtight jar. Using small handfuls rub LIGHTLY on skin starting with feet and legs. DO NOT use on face. Rinse well.

Milk Bath:
1/4 c.dry buttermilk

or
1/2 cup of either item above plus
1TB cornstarch
