I have Earthlink too. I could'nt tell you when the last time I received a notice. Never thought much about it until now though. Too much hassle to mess with it. We're thinking about switching over to high speed before long anyway. But I sure do miss the news letters from this site.

I'm not rteceiving them either, but not the ISP according to them, but there seems to be LOTS of things I'm not receiving so....... I do know that DH sometimes with his dementia gets confused and deletes some of my stuff so who knows!

More than likely, your ISP won't admit that they are not putting them through. If you are persistent, they will probably take a look at it "behind the scenes" and not let you know about it.

If more than one person is having trouble with Earthlink, I would be willing to bet it's on their end.

Well this is what Earthlink told me to have Family Corner do today when I tried to get help on getting the emails from the site:

Benny D: Please ask them to send a test mail and let me know the error that you are getting.

Roberta: I'm not getting anything from them by email

Roberta: it's like earthlink is blocking them

Benny D: I am sure that you need to receive the mails from them.

Benny D: Else they need to get the error message on their end.

Benny D: If they are getting any message that says blocked by earthlink then follow the steps below.

Benny D: Ask the sender to forward the complete bounce back error message to [email protected] and type in the IP address mentioned in the error message in subject field. Ex Unblock 10.10.10.10. It may take 24 – 48 hours for our support team to contact . EarthLink Abuse will then review the request and either approve or deny based on the reason for the original blocking.

Benny D: For more information, Please go through the below Web link.

Benny D: Email Blocked by EarthLink

Benny D: Please also refer the above article to the sender, so that they can send the Email in Correct Format to EarthLink

Can anyone here help???

Roberta

Hang in there, Roberta. They should fix the problem for you. I've been there and done that with AT&T and Comcast when I lived in Pa.

Look at the bright side, at least the guy was able to provide a solution and not just tell you that it's not their fault.

AFter talking with the first guy on Monday I did get a newsletter (well two) about Earthday but not the notices so I'm guessing they come from a different email address???

The newsletter you received is issued through a separate place, yes, so a different IP address. That's how they block, by I.P. So hopefully they'll have this fixed shortly. I've seen this before with earthlink and I have had to do the same thing I did yesterday.
