What are you guys doing for school fundraisers this year? With the end of the quarter approaching, our PTA is looking for fundraising ideas for Spring. I suggested Driven Coffee www.drivencoffee.com/fundraising as my daughter's soccer team had run a coffee fundraiser last year and it was very successful. But the rest of the PTA wasn't quite convinced that coffee was the best idea. I'm all for it & hope Driven gets selected, but I need some other ideas to present too. (just no candybars again!) Thanks, guys!

How about a pizza night? Our Papa Murphy's do a fundraiser with the schools here. The pizza shop donates a percentage of the sales that they take in on one night. The school's pass out flyers announcing the date that families can go purchase their pizzas and specify that they are supporting their school and want their purchase/s to go for that fund raiser. Not sure how that works. But, maybe you have a pizza place that does this already in your neighborhood.
Also there are grocery cards that you can sell to parents and a percentage for the sales off the card go to you. You must purchase so many cards first and then the parents can add money to the cards latter so you can earn more that way. I know that Kingsoopers grocery store does this.

Do you do the Boxtops for Education? It's been around for over 14 years and the schools around here earn quite a bit that way.

Also you could sell valentine heart suckers for Valentine's Day.
Sell garden/ flower seed packets. Buy at gross prices and sell for a small increased fee.
Car washes that gets kids involved. And bake sales.
Maybe a Plant sale. Have a science class plant some seeds at the end of Febuary and have them grow big enough to sell in the spring.

Just a few ideas for you.

Wow, those are some great ideas! Thanks, Vicky!

Sales Ideas
1) Coffee Fundraiser (Driven Coffee)
2) Pizza Night (Papa Murphy's)
3) Grocery Store Cards (Ralph’s, Von’s, Albertson’s, Pavilion’s - need to see who does cards like this)
4) Garden/Flower seed packets (need to check with local nurseries)

Event Ideas
1) Car washes
2) Plant sale
3) Bake sale

No, we don't do Boxtops for Education. That's another good idea that we should be doing year-round, by default.

I'm excited to share these ideas at our next meeting!

Your welcome.

I may add some more after thinking for awhile.

There's always Roller skating or Ice skating party, Father Daughter dance, Mother Daughter Tea, A Sock Hop and a School Carnival night.

And A Santa shop for kids to buy cheap presents for family and friends. Kind of late, but there's always next year.

Have a nice holiday season!

Campbell's labels how offer a c/c to spend the points where ever the school needs.

Quarter Auctions are big here. At lot of restaurants offer 10-20% back on your groups sales which you can do monthly. East of Chicago Pizza, Papa Johns Pizza, Bob Evans, Dairy Queen, Wings & Rings, Applebees, etc. Some you have to have a coupon at check out for the group to get a portion and others do all sales from 5-8pm.

Peeler cards to local restaurants (McDonald, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut) generally $10 for a card.

Rent the roller rink if you have one then you get the admission fee and the rink gets the skate rental and snack bar sales.

We have a couple local garden centers that offer flats of flowers/veggies or a hanging basket with coupons sold for $15.

In the fall sell wreaths, pointsettas, etc.
