I'm not on FB either. Life keeps me busy! My youngest daughter is 27. I used a diaper service with cloth diapers and diaper wraps for the first 6 months. I used alot of diapers during those months.

My daughter just turned 30 (Yikes!), my middle so is 27 and my youngest son is 22. I miss a lot of people who used to be on here though I am friends with many on FB which is nice.

Miss Money Penny, I am a teacher at a daycare/learning center and I can tell you that there are people who still use cloth diapers though now they are with wraps and liners so no pins.

Good on you for using cloth! Yep, LOTS of diapers... I do remember that! I always used the flat sheet styled diapers, and those got wet in a hurry. Even doubling them up at change-time didn't contain the wetness for long. If I was busy and didn't get around to changing someone promptly as soon as they wet, I'd have to change the rubber pants with the diapers, because the elastic waist and leg holes on the pants would get wet.

Nothing fancy in my home, just straight old-fashioned diapers that required folding, and plain old safety pins and rubber pants.

Tell me about it! LOL! My oldest will be 25 this August, and my youngest will be 12 in November! My last two were in diapers at the same time, and neither escaped the doom of cloth diapers! LOL!

It's good to see mothers are still using cloth diapers, even though cloth diapers have come a long way from when I was diapering my kids. The next door neighbour had her second child just under a year ago, and she uses the same cloth diaper method I did, with old-fashioned pins and pants.

I say whatever works in ones home. I do know having changed the old-fashioned ones on baby siblings when I was growing up, and the same when I used to do general babysitting in my teens, prompted me to use the same on my kids. Also was changing nieces and nephews a good 10 years earlier (anyhow), prior to having my own children, and they, too, wore cloth diapers. That was the late 70's and all through the 80's.
