Your comfort zone

What takes you out of your comfort zone?

For me, it's being in a group of people I do not know. I know thats not a big thing but it puts my stomach in knots every time! Now, with a group of friends I know, or one on one I am very funny and friendly but when I don't know anyone, it's a whole different book!

On a bigger level, putting me on an airplane TOTALLY puts me out of my comfort zone!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hugs, train

Several things takes me out of my comfort zone, being around people I do not know is one of them.

Another one when I feel people cannot understand what I am saying due to my speech problem; as there are words I cannot pronounce. When I need to use those words and they cannot understand what I am saying, it takes me out of my comfort zone

I don't care to have confrontation and there are those times it can take me out of my confort zone to do so, it depends on who it is with.

There are more I sure, but that all I can think of right now.

With the way my life has changed this year. I don't really have a comfort zone at all. Everything makes me nervous and so unsure of myself.

Being with a group of people, crowds in stores and, I guess I am just more comfortable in my home, it's the act of leaving more then the actual activity.

I'm normally an introvert so lots takes me out of my comfort zone but especially large crowds, noise and lots of traffic. I don't like traveling or holiday shopping for that reason. I used to go to the day after Thanksgiving sales when I was younger but hate them now. I also live in a city where there are only two freeways and one is more of a highway for a large stretch of it.

Large crowds, majorly disrupt my comfort zone, as do strangers. Another comfort zone killer for me... get-togethers/parties where I know few to no people. Can't and refuse to do those, now that I'm older and more wiser.

As for flying... me, too! Also, confined spaces. I'm gasping for air just thinking about it.

Hugs Charlotte.

Speaking in front of a large crowd, I've learned to deal with being in a room of people I don't know. Driving in an area I've never been still gets to me but I do it. I have no sense of direction so I really hate being in a place that I've not been before.
