That's it!
Rule #1: The Parent is always RIGHT.
Rule #2: If the Parent is WRONG...refer to Rule #1
You can make the rules when YOU are grown and become a parent...

Age? ~ Just a number...
`
It's been said that pets have a calming effect on people ~ especially elders. Gee, I should be calm. I have two calico, one year old, cats. I'm all of 56 going on 57. Dear Doctor is still trying to find the correct amount of medicine to control my high blood pressure. LOL As for any gray hair.... I try not to give it a chance to see daylight! Then I don't see it, therefore I don't have it! Hair dyes do fantastic work! On that note, let me say good~bye, for now....."Age is whatever you make of it."

I am 49 going to be 50 in January. I don't feel old until I can't unbutton small buttons or see to thread a needle.
What is age anyway a number on the scale??? hee hee

Hi Girls!!
I am 41 years old. Have several gray hairs, which I try to cover up. To me age is only a state of mind!! I remember thinking thirty was old....then 35.....but hitting forty really didn't bother me!! I think my kids keep me "young at heart"!!

I agree that age is a state of mind. Hope you don't mind that I don't state mine! LOL
I just turned 41, dh is 44, and ds will be 20 next week.
As for gray hair I was fully grey by age 25. Ds is almost there. Why does it look so distinquished on a man? Current color for me is something that was supposed to have been reddish brown but turned out purple. The kids at the HS love it!
My body is 41, The rest of me is 16!

It really is true....gray hair looks very distinguished on a man! I totally agree with you there.

How cute?
Sharona, Really cute! Had me LOL. Purple??!! Boy, aren't you the fashion statement? Reminds me of the day my eldest daughter dyed her hair...LOL...turned it smokey~gray. She was furious with me, when I told her she was still going to school!! She did (a very obedient child ~ ~ plus the fact I installed the fear of G~ ~ into my children!) LOL Needless to say, the very next day Dawn dyed her hair back to "near" the normal color. Is your hair still purple, or did you re~do it?

Hi Everyone,
I am 56 and my DH is 55. My DS is 30, my DD is 27, and my DGS is 4. I had the feeling that I was one of the group elders. My hear is now nearly white and since I wear it really short, there isn't much use in coloring it. My eyebrows are pitch black so all shades look fake on me, and at my age I refuse to dye it black. I love chatting with you all, and really enjoyed the imprompto chat last night. Hope I don't miss the next one.

It's still purple, but it will be remedied this weekend. Nothing like a bunch of high school girls itching to "discover the new you" with dye on their minds! They've planned a run to wal-mart to decide my newest shade! I guess I should be afraid!
I think this is where my mind is 16............
Thank heavens I have a hubby that just laughs.
Try Purple! It's definately a mood changer!

Oh My!! What's next???
Sharona, You'll have to keep us updated on your hair coloring.
This is so exciting.... Just don't over due, to the point of "loosing: your hair completely. but, then again you'll still be in style.. "Bald is beautiful"
