We just picked up the summer reading program information during our last library visit a few days ago.

This year's reading program is called "Make a Splash...Read!" for the younger kids and "Make Waves at your Library" for the teens.

Both kids have already decided that they want to participate.

Great news about my daughter.... For her reading assessments for 1st grade, she scored a high 40 - high level 4 - which means that she is reading well into a 4th grade level!! WooHoo!! Her teacher said that she is just amazed at how well she can read and grasp what she is reading, not just sounding out the words!

She has been bitten by the reading bug!!
