French Cream Frosting


3 1/2 tbls.flour
3/4 cup milk
1/2 stick margarine
3/4 cup shortening
1/8 tsp.salt
1 1/4 tsp.vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Mix flour & milk together into a paste.
Cook paste until thick & then set aside to cool.
Put margarine & shortening into a bowl,cream well.
Add salt,sugar & beat until fluffy.
Mix the paste into fluffy mixture & beat with mixer until it stands in good soft peaks. Add vanilla and beat til blended.Refrigerate 20 minutes before using.


I have tried this and its pretty good! I am not big on icing unless its homemade!
