No problem OSI. Actually, I use both, depending on what I have. But I prefer using raw potatoes because I like the crunch! I just cut up leftover turkey, and an onion if I have one, along with potatoes.(all cut to the same size). I heat a bit of oil in a skillet, dump everything in and cook until crispy, then flip it over and cook the other side. You can also add chopped veggies if you want, but I don't because I usually serve this with a veggie, anyway. I do the same with the mashed potatoes--just mix it all up and fry it. I don't know if this is how it's "supposed" to be done, but my family gobbles it up(no pun intended lol) and asks for more!
