From the time my son was in Kindergarten, I have always summer schooled him.

I was just coming here to FC to post about Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program. , when I saw this thread.

We have 2 other reading programs that Andy belonged to last summer. One he earned a $10. gift card from Target and one he earned points that he can cash in for prizes. RIF is one of the sites. http://www.rif.org/readingplanet/

Here is the second one, sponsored by Sylvan Learning Center: http://www.bookadventure.com/

We focus a lot on reading and math.

This year will be different, though. My DD will be working with us so I am leaning toward more theme plans this year.

I want to get them into the kitchen. They love to cook with me. They can both work on math this way.

Yes, we do worksheets, too. Computer time too.

Cursive for my son and printing for my daughter.

Crafts too. This sounds like a lot but I am working on organizing it to try to make it as fun as possible for them.

I am trying to come up with some learning day trips too.

Good Luck, Lee!
