I had an uterine ablation done in 2002. I opted for that over a hysterectomy?!?! What was I thinking?!?!
My periods went from very heavy for 2-3 weeks every 3 weeks or so to very light to spotting for 3 days each month after it was done. Just can't get pregnant or it could kill me. I had been having trouble with this for almost 4 years when I had the ablation done.
