Try to re~word your thread. You don't want to 'ask' Amanda to begin a thread,
you would rather want to initially do it yourself.
You seem to want to get involved with other members, that have your same interest of the painting of your ceramics. You could try to introduce a whole new thread....
something like..."Would like to communicate with other painters of ceramics.... your techniques, etc."
After entering a new thread, email to either Amanda, or Sue, to see if the first could be omitted and your new one left in for future use. It's no real big deal. Only that I think that members are looking at the 1st. thread, and then just waiting for a response from Amanda, to write in.... could be wrong, but hope you do try a second thread, and see what happens... luv ya, me
