It has more to do with mass than with weight...
Muscle tissue is more dense than fat tissue.. So pound for pound it takes up less space.
A pound of muscle tissue takes up less room than a pound of fat tissue does.. ( in your clothes, on your body and in the world in general...)
Soooo...
You can loose inches.. but not pounds. YOur cloths can get looser, but your weight can get higher...
Start measuring yourself with a tape measure. Bust, waist, hips, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, calves, lower arms, even neck and ankles.. whatever areas you'd like to track.
But don't weigh youreslf more than once a week ... and measure yourself once a month.
You'll be amazed...
