Cutting Back to Save Money

February 12th, 2013 posted by Carrie Mcpherson

Ok you just realized it was payday, Happy Pay Day! OH NO, you have bills that need to be paid, groceries to buy, new dance slippers for your daughter, and you need to make sure you have budgeted in enough to last until the next payday. How do you make you money stretch? Being a single mom who works very hard for what she earns, I have bills that come every month and whether I like it or not they need to be paid. I have 2 kids to support therefore living penny-wise is how I survive.

  • Get frugal with your spending…….

Look at the sales flyers in your weekly paper before going to town to shop. When an item is on sale that you buy every week, buy extra so you will have enough to last until next time it’s on sale. (Like a month or so.)

Use coupons. You can get both coupons and refunds on the internet.

If you think frugal in all you have to buy, in the long run you will end up saving alot over time!
