What you do

// Place a piece of construction paper on the floor. Have your child gently place one foot on it. Trace around child’s foot. This will be the bunny’s body. With same piece of paper, have child put both thumbs down, trace around these. These will be the bunny’s ears. Have older children cut out their thumbs and feet, you can do this for the younger set. Place the cut out footprint so that the larger toe part is on the bottom. The heel part should be at the top, this will be the bunny’s head. Cut out slivers of pink construction paper to make the pink inner part of the bunny’s ears. With the glue stick, glue the cut out thumbs onto the top of the heel of the foot to make bunny ears. Using the glue stick, glue the pink slivers to the center of the thumbprint ears. Use the white school glue to adhere wiggle eyes onto the heel portion, just below the bunny ears. Use the hot glue gun to attach the pom pom onto the toe portion of the foot, on the left side, about an inch and a half up from the bottom. (see photo) Take the pen or the fine tip marker, and make a triangle nose, whiskers and mouth just below the googly eyes. You may also use small pom poms for cheeks and a scrap of pink construction paper or craft foam cut into a traingle for the nose.
