Try to sweep your floors daily to clear away sand and dirt that can scratch the finish. Limit the use of water in cleaning. In fact, you should never use a wet mop. A slightly dampened sponge is much safer.
Take a look at the floor at different times of the day. Is the sun focused on a certain spot for long periods of time? This could cause fading.
Avoid harsh cleaners. Your manufacturer can probably suggest a suitable cleaner for hardwood floors. Wipe spills up as they occur, so you don't have to do too much scrubbing.
