Remove Tiny Bumps on Arms by Exfoliating

Click here for a printable version of this tip

People with dry skin or Eczema tend to get tiny bumps on
the arms and legs. These bumps are caused by hair follicles
that become clogged with oil and dead skin. When you notice
them, apply an acid-based moisturizer. This will help clear
pores by removing the outer layer of dead skin cells.
Exfoliating with a gentle loofah three to five times a week
is also helpful.

Besides exfoliating, a diet containing plenty of fruits,
vegetables and lean protein can be beneficial. Occasionally
eczema can be caused by food allergies, the most common
triggers being wheat, corn and dairy. If after two weeks of
exfoliating you don't see any difference, experiment with
eliminating these "trigger" foods for two weeks.
