Kids love water parks, but carelessness can lead to
accidents. A few steps of precaution could save a child's life.

* Instruct your children to pay attention to the rules. They
should go down a water slide feet first and move out of the
way quickly once they have exited the slide. This will avoid
a collision with another child.

* Make sure the lifeguards are present at both ends of each ride
to help kids on and off.

* Make sure the water at the end of the ride isn't over the
child's head. Pay attention to those signs about height
requirements and swimming ability.

* If the water park allows it, consider having your kids wear
life jackets.
