Tips For Drawstrings

Click here for a printable version of this tip

1. If a drawstring frequently does a disappearing act
into its casing, double-knot the tips. Or harden the tips
with a few drops of household cement for easy retrieval.
Play it safe - tie the drawstrings together before laundering.

2. If you lose a drawstring, substitute a shoelace, ribbon,
or fabric tubing; attach a safety pin on one end to help
feed the replacement through the casing.
