Keep Your Hardwood Healthy

Try to sweep your floors daily to clear away sand and dirt that
can scratch the finish. Limit the use of water in cleaning. In
fact, you should never use a wet mop. A slightly dampened sponge
is much safer.

Take a look at the floor at different times of the day. Is the
sun focused on a certain spot for long periods of time? This
could cause fading.

Avoid harsh cleaners. Your manufacturer can probably suggest a
suitable cleaner for hardwood floors. Wipe spills up as they
occur, so you don't have to do too much scrubbing.
