Time Your Vacation For Fewer Arrival Surprises

It's happened to most of us: You've just arrived at your
vacation destination only to realize that Spring Break and
the national motorcycle convention coincide with your family
vacation. You should have planned ahead!

The timing of large, city-wide events and activities should
be on the minds of all would-be travelers, rather than just
those who plan to attend.

Next time you plan a vacation, be sure to contact the city's
convention and visitor's bureau to inquire about large
gatherings, seasonal events and city-wide happenings.

Remember, timing IS everything. While certain types of
surprises while on vacation are desirable, one thing you
don't want to be surprised about is unexpected crowds that
detract from your travel pleasure.
