As bills come in, write a check for the amount and put in envelope and seal. Do not put postage stamp on yet but in that space put a date 7 days (10 for credit cards) before payment is due and put in a little fence holder on your desk in chronological order. When that date arrives, apply stamp & send.

For correspondence & other important papers, invest in a small cheap file cabinet & have a folder for each person or subject and file these alphabetically. For items deductible for income tax, have one folder and put related items in this folder as you receive them. Get a notebook & start a daily blog.
