For little ones' little boo-boos, save ketchup & mustard packets from fast food restaurants and freeze them. When your little one comes crying to Mama with an "ouchy", wrap one in a napkin/papertowel and let them hold it where it hurts. It will be "kid-size" enough for them to feel like a big kid without the mess of melting ice. The gelatinous consistency of the liquid makes it cold, but not frozen to the point of burning. Packets can be thrown away or refrozen.
