Teen Craft: Glittered Flip Flop Decorations
July 24th, 2013 posted by Amanda Formaro
Do you have a preteen or teenager that loves to craft and decorate her room? This fun glittery project is easy to do and totally color customizable. Choose your favorite colors or use my recommendations. Either way, you’ll end up with a fun item to stick to the wall, your bedroom door or display on a shelf.
To make these flip flops you will need:
3 sets of Wooden flip flops (available at Michaels Craft Store)
Paint (I used Craft Smart also available at Michaels)
Glitter Paint (also Craft Smart)
Paint the base of each flip flop; one each with Pink, Light Green and Pale Blue.
For the Pale Blue flip flop, paint the straps Orange, the flower petals Fuchsia, and the center of the flower Crystal.
For the Pink flip flop, paint the straps Lime Green, the flower petals Orange, and the center of the flower Crystal.
For the Light Green flip flop, paint the straps Fuchsia, the flower petals Blue, and the center of the flower Crystal.
For sticking items to the wall, I recommend 3M Command Strips.
