Eggs & Bacon Candy

Make this fun treat while on your next camping trip or any old time. It’s cute, it’s tasty and the kids will love it! This is a fun project for 4H, Scouts or just for a lazy summer day.
What You Need
fruit leather candy white chocolate for melting yellow M&Ms scissors
If you make this project
What you do
Use scissors to cut a piece of fruit leather in to strips. Lay the strips in a criss cross shape onto a plate. Melt white chocolate over the campfire in a skillet with a parent’s help, or in a microwave. Drop melted white chocolate on top and in the center of the criss crossed fruit leather, leaving some of the fruit leather exposed. White melted chocolate is still hot, place two yellow M&Ms on to the chocolate for the egg yolks. Let cool completely before removing from the plate to eat. Notes:
- If you have wax paper available, create your edible crafts on that instead of directly on the plate.
- Instead of fruit leather you can substitute with pretzel sticks.
