  Mother's Day Checklist : Mom Picks Her Favorites


Print this list (Printer friendly version to your left) and ask Mom to fill it out -- then post it on the refrigerator so everyone can fulfill her every wish for the day.

    • 9:00 a.m.
    • Noon
    • I bounce out of bed on my own

  • Breakfast in bed? Heavenly! Please bring:
    • Bacon and eggs; coffee and juice
    • Scones and jelly; coffee and juice
    • Cinnamon roll; coffee and juice
    • Peanut butter and jelly sandwich; Kool-Aid

  • You've ordered flowers? Glory be! I hope the florist is sending:
    • Roses, and lots of them
    • White orchids...something I can enjoy all year long
    • A beautiful spring bouquet - fresh, but not too fancy
    • Lilies...you chose for me

  • You're taking me somewhere fun? Oh, boy! I hope it involves:
    • The need to pack a suitcase
    • Binoculars and a field guide
    • A scarf, sunglasses, and a red convertible
    • A blanket in the backyard with my favorite kiddos

  • And you're feeling especially generous? Lucky me! Please consider any of the following:
    • A gift basket the size of Manhattan
    • A manicure or pedicure
    • My favorite fragrance
    • Bath and body products (and time for a luxurious soak in a hot tub)

  • A delightful Mother's Day evening would include:
    • A delicious meal prepared by my family
    • Dinner at my favorite restaurant
    • Dinner and a movie
    • Pizza on the couch
