What you do

Place newspaper down on work surface. Turn clay pot over and glue wooden ball to bottom of pot. When glue is dry, use large paint brush to paint the entire outside of the clay pot and the wooden ball with white paint. Let dry and apply a second coat. When paint is dry, cover the white paint with a coat of brown antiquing gel. Leave on for 1 minute, wipe off excess with a soft cloth. Let dry completely.

Glue two buttons onto the front of the clay pot and tie the country gingham material around the neck and fashion into a bow. Wrap a piece of craft wire around a pencil, pull off. Thread two small jingle bells onto the curled craft wire and position next to each other. The jingle bells will sit in the front of of Rudolph’s face, above his eyes. Form curled craft wire into a head band. Trim ends and hot glue in place on head.

Tie a piece of raffia around the bottom of the clay pot. Tie into a bow and trim the ends. Cut two small pieces of brown felt and glue in place for ears as shown in picture. Use black marker to dot on eyes. Using a small sponge or your fingertip, gently dab on a thin amount of pink for the cheeks. Glue the plastic holly berry on for the nose. Using a considerable amount hot glue, adhere the two branches to the top of the head as the antlers.
