What you do
If you did not purchase a premade sign for this project with the craft wire already in place, drill two holes, one at each end, about 1/2" from the top of the sign (held horizontally). Thread craft wire through and twist each end in place.
Paint the entire sign white, allow to dry. Apply a second coat, let dry. Using the flower shaped sponge, dip in to the light blue paint then dab off excess onto a paper towel. Sponge should not appear wet, only a small amount of paint is needed. Sponge flowers onto the white sign sporadically. This method can be done with any shape sponge if you do not have or want flowers. Let dry completely (at least 2 hours).
When paint is completely dry, position rub on transfers wherever you want them, apply. Follow the direction on the package for application.
Use the black craft pen to write your family name and address number on the sign. Apply 3 coats of matte acrylic spray sealer, allowing at least 15 minutes between coats.
