This forum is home to the Chef Guy award. You can ONLY get a Chef Guy here--and the only way to win one is to submit your favorite MAIN DISH recipes. If your recipe is chosen, it will be published in the "Time To Eat" newsletter from our sister site, MomsMenu, and you'll have a Chef Guy in your awards showcase.
Of course, we welcome all kinds of recipes here, but only main dish recipes can win a Chef Guy.
We are having one of our last warm days here today so I'm going to grill out. We're going to have honey mustard chicken thighs, roasted potatoes/carrots/onions and peas. I'm hoping to find time to make ginger crinkle cookies, too.
Worked yesterday as it was month-end. Got home around 5:30 and had company at 5:35. They hung out for a couple of hours and our five trick or treaters (first time in years!!) After they left, I made ham, smoked turkey, and Swiss paninis and we watched the rest of the baseball game. Today I'm going to make either hamburger gravy to have over baked taters, or some kind of hamburger something with some kind of veggie. Now that almost sounds like a plan ...
