Yum! The best part of late summer is the fresh vegetables from the garden. We've been enjoying lots of tomatoes and cucumbers.

Punky1015, in my opinion there is nothing better than fresh tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden - green peppers and corn too!

The weather has been much nicer to us lately! Still almost 90º, but not as humid! Woo-hoo!!

Tonight is homemade lasagne, tossed green salad and baked cheese bread.

Counting down the days til October

Tonight we had ravioli with Italian sausage in sauce made from tomatoes from our garden - YUM! We had a Caesar salad on the side.

Happy face

I envy all of you that can grow your own garden veggies. We don't have the room here to put a garden in. I tried one of those tomato plants in the upside down container but it does nothing.. no blooms, no tomatoes just a skinny vine. LOL I have to eat those bought at the store or go without.
