I have no idea on supper yet; as far as the complete meal. DS gave me turnips from his garden yesterday so I have peeled those and have them ready to cook for DH. I suppose I will end up grilling chicken breast, and slice up fresh garden tomatoes, cook me some kale from my garden and maybe put out the container of watermelon I fixed for DH. Lousy supper tonight!

We're having sloppy joes and corn on the cob tonight.

I kind of cobbled together a sloppy joe recipe: ketchup, mustard, onion, pepper, and the last of the taco sauce (about 1/4 cup). Hope it tastes good, LOL!

Barb---I'll bet it will be good. I have seen recipes for Taco Joe's!
OK...question.....Anybody ever see frozen artichokes in there grocery store? I have a few recipes that call for them and was just wondering. Thanks.

I have not seen frozen ones around here. I have seen lots of jarred ones, I wonder if they would work?
Tonight I made some homemade corn tortillas and guacamole. We had chili lime shrimp tacos and cornchips. I had a huge chocolate craving so I made chocolate rocky road fudgey stuff.

Monday night will be homemade mac and cheese. I will heat up the leftover stewed tomatoes from Friday night.

My tomato plants are loaded with green tomatoes. Can't wait till they start turning red. Love fresh picked tomatoes. YUM!!!

Happy face

We are having the left over pork chop dinner from yesterday. There's plenty left so I won't cook today.

I miss going out & picking tomatoes off the vine. Nothing like a vine ripened home grown tomato. I always let one get red & then I would pick a green one to fry.

Last nights casserole was a huge success. Will post the recipe later.
Cooked---I am thinking I can use the jarred plain artichokes but would have to give them less cooking time.
Dinner tonight is whole wheat spaghetti with turkey meatballs and sauce. Also having whole wheat garlic bread. I wonder if I am over doing it here? LOL

Dh will have leftovers. I'm probably going to have white fish or maybe just a salad.
