What's for Dinner? April 2009

Welcome to the April 2009 "What's for Dinner" forum!

This forum is home to the Chef Guy award. You can ONLY get a Chef Guy here--and the only way to win one is to submit your favorite MAIN DISH recipes. If your recipe is chosen, it will be published in the "Time To Eat" newsletter from our sister site, MomsMenu, and you'll have a Chef Guy in your awards showcase.

Of course, we welcome all kinds of recipes here, but only main dish recipes can win a Chef Guy.

What's for dinner?

Happy face

Wow.. it's April already!!!

Last night we had steaks on the grill, baked potatoes, & corn.

Tonite we are having sausage patties, sausage gravy, & bisquits & green beans. Frozen peach yogurt for dessert.

Tomorrow we are taking my neice to Golden Corral for lunch. It's her birthday so we thought we'd treat her for lunch.

Wednesday dinner I am letting DD #1 pick what she wanted. DD #2 won't be home to late because of an away track meet.

So this is what a 17 yr old girl picked for dinner. Fishsticks and mac & cheese. I am going to add stewed tomatoes for a veggie to this meal.

They never grow up!!

I pulled out smoked sausage links and hot dogs from the freezer, will have french fries, tossed salad and fruit with it.

Charlotte, I have a virus and DH is out of town. I gave the kids a choice of spaghetti or French toast, since they can cook that for themselves. They rummaged in the pantry and got some boxed mac & cheese. That's ALL they ate.
