Today is not a "great" day, so my plans for Shrimply Creole are on hold. Will probably just fix some lentil soup, or some clam chowder and a salad.
This cold snap is taking it's toll.

Today DS has his road test and it's suppose to snow. I hope it holds off for his sake.
Later around the "commute home" time it's suppose to be real nasty out.
Today would be a good day for something in the crock, but old mother hubbard dunbar's (lol) cupboards are bare. I just cleaned out my fridge. Ick, moldy applesauce.
Congrats, Shelly! Chuck roast in the slow cooker tonightI'll put some carrots and onions in the bottom then the check roast. Mix a beer with some package gravy mix and dinner is done. Mashed potatoes & a salad. I'm even going to start some split pea soup in my big slow cooker for tomorrow night.
