Made a big pot of chicken soup. Like to use chicken legs makes a great soup. Always add vegetables gives it a flavor and bite size pieces. The bones are loaded with calcium and the soup wards off viruses.
barbszy....Remember my Dad making Easter Bread by hand for years. The bread machine is a great invention.
Will give your recipe a try.

me too only venison finally got it done yes.

I sift my flour when I get water in it because I didn't close the canister lid, or even, don't cringe, if I see food moths in the kitchen.

Hello all,

Hope you all are doing good today.

Feeling better today, must have been a 24 hour bug.

Dinner tonight is pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sauteed yellow squash and onions. We will finish off the eggnog pie for dessert while watching the finale of Dancing with the Stars. Sure hoping Mario wins..............

Have a great day!!!

Last night I made Bacon wrapped Beef Patties and I to set off the smoke detecter, burnt that bacon to a crisp. (I was broiling) The patties turned out okay! That was the first time I have done that in a very long time. Must have been something in the air yesterday!

Tonight dh is making us bacon egg cheese sandwhichs. Poor guy didnt get his bacon fix last night.

Navy bean soup and biscuits. Maybe some sliced up swiss cheese and a glass of wine.

Yummm. It is cold outside, the soup will be hot. Got to go start the fire in the woodstove...rachel

Lee.....I always have a box of them in the freezer for a fast meal. I cook mine in the Turbo Cooker. (Covered Pan).
I cut part of the bacon off so it browns easier and lets the juices out. I always have my thermometer fork on hand so it does not get over done.
So far Walmart has the best prices on them.

We had meatloaf, mashed new potatoes with the skin, and spinach. I am planning on making pierogi lasagna next Monday for my DD and GKs. However, does anyone have any ideas on the type of meat that goes with that? What about other side dishes? It seems like it would be similar to pierogis. Thanks for the help.
