We got a cold front to come through yesterday. It is 72 degrees right now, better than the 88 degrees we were dealing with. It won't get too cold tonight though, only to about 59 degrees. Oh well, at least a little fall is showing its face around here!!! LOL
Dinner will be what I had planned last night. Ham and potato soup and hot buttered rolls. Easy but satisfying!!! Ice cream for dessert.
Have a wonderful afternoon!!!

Monday night we had Chinese take-out. Last night dh made steaks from the freezer, cheddar mashed potatoes and corn. Tonight we had Chinese take-out!
Tomorrow we're having turkey breast. I'm marinating it in an apple & bourbon marinade overnight and then I'll bake it tomorrow night. Not sure what else I'll be making to go with it yet.
I have some turkey still hanging out in the refrigerator and it is too warm today for soup so will make Turkey Dressing Pie for supper. Have some broccoli and mashed potatoes with it. Here is the recipe for the Turkey Dressing Pie:
In a large bowl, combine dressing, broth, butter and egg and mix well. Press into the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 10" pie plate and set aside. In a large skillet, saute onion in oil till tender. Stir in turkey, gravy, peas, parsley, pimientos, Worcestershire sauce and thyme and heat through. Pour over crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or till golden. 6 servings.

Once again I haveno clue as to what we'll have. Probably fast food or tv dinners since it is dance night.
One of these days I'll plan ahead and remember to put something on in the crockpot on dance night.
