Pot of pinto beans on the stove, mashed potatoes and a veggie. I wanted to get a veggie from the freezer, but Christmas crafts are drying on paper on top of the freezer so will have to probably settle for canned green beans. I have two tomatoes left on tht hoosier so will chunk up one into the beans and add some onion and a little liquid smoke. Have some rye rolls left to go with it.
No trick or treaters here since we are so isolated so just a peaceful night (except for the guineas; they keep chasing a deer! LOL
Have a good evening!

We Welcome Strays
When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping"; now we just "chunky dunk"
Dinner tonight was a throw together chicken lo mein. Used the extra spaghetti noodles that I cooked on Sunday. Cooked chicken strips with onion, bell pepper and a bag of mixed veggies with garlic, ginger, black pepper and soy sauce.
