Made angel hair pasta with meat sauce for tonight. Usually I make a marinara sauce, so this was good for a change. Fruit for dessert.

Tonight's dinner will be sausage & pepper sandwiches. I prebaked the sausage, and will dump it into a Nesco with the sliced onions and peppers, and let it cook a couple of hours. It will be ready "whenever" they are done trick or treating

I don't post here as often as I'd like with my school schedule. I have a crockpot full of chili with beans for tonight. In the oven, I have cornbread to go with it.

I have 1/3 a prime rib roast in my fridge left over from last night. The mashed potatoes are all gone. Any suggestions what to do with it?

French dip, slice the beef thin and heat it with au jus and put over a toasted hard bun... can add cheese if you want, also something like coleslaw and green beans and sliced oranges or tangelos

think chili for us will be easy on trick or treat nite

Hello all,

Hope you all are doing good on this Halloween afternoon!!!

We stopped giving out Halloween candy a couple of years ago. All we were getting were teenagers who came with cigarettes in their mouths. We decided if they can buy cigarettes they can get their own candy!!! LOL Most of the kids around here are grown, so it is really no big deal!!!

Dinner tonight is a beef roast which is simmering on the stove now. Will have potatoes, onions and carrots with it!!!

Have a great day!!!

Dinner will probably be chicken marco polo with fries and gravy.

Our trick or treating was on Saturday. We don't get kids anymore since our road has become dangerous. I still buy yht candy though. the girls can take it to dance class and pass it out there.

Coll, what is Chicken Marco Polo?

My Big DS and his friend, both 14, did go trick or treating this year. I wonder how many "older" kids we'll see? People are just getting started now.
