This thread is now open for posting.

I've missed being here this past month.

DD got married Saturday night. It was a beautiful wedding but I am
glad that it is finally over! I am now a mother-in-law!!!

With all that planning craziness behind me, I'll have my life back to
whatever sense of "normal" that it was before so I hope to be back
here. I know that I have missed out on so much!

I had planned on getting back into the swing of things today but on
the way home from drivng my parents back to Houston last night,
we had a flat tire! So, I had to go get a new tire today...return DH,
the two DS and my Dad's tuxedos, do some grocery shopping and
then take the two DS for an appt with their asthma specialist.

After the hectic weekend and today, we ate supper out at Logan's
Roadhouse tonight. I had the grilled salmon. I love their salmon!!!

We did Wendy's for dinner tonight before trick or treating. That was a big treat for the girls because we rarely have fast food.

Abear, please post pics from the wedding.

I fixed a turkey breast with instant mashed taters, corn, stove top dressing and gravy. No one else got to eat because they had to leave for trick or treating, they'll have leftovers tomorrow and I'll probably find something else for me. I've saved the bones w/meat on to make soup.

I am clueless when it comes to doing that but a while back, debknechtel said she would do it for me. As soon as we get some pictures back, I'll e-mail them to her to post for me.....if I don't look too frightful in them!!

Tomorrow will be dinner in the crockpot. New red potatoes, quartered onions, carrot chunks, fresh green beans, cabbage in wedges, a clove of elephant garlic with a big hunk of ham on top. All the veggies are from the end of our garden. Also an apple salad (apples from our trees) with walnuts & raisins (given to us by friends). For dessert I have some leftover cinnamon bread to put in a bread pudding.
