I also want to welcome you Liz FC is a great site and this thread as well as lots of others have some wonderful ladies in them. I know for sure Barbszy is as had the pleasure of meeting her last month.

Dinner tonite is spaghetti had the sauce in the freezer and will have garlic bread with it. I am so tired from all the wall papering (helping Gina that is) till dear Judy is going to do the honors tonite. Gotta have Garlic bread too as Steven has decided he loves it lol. I even bought a loaf already fixed up just have to do it in oven.

Happy cooking/eating everyone

Thanks, Patti! It was great meeting you too Too bad I didn't remember to bring that jug of BOOST for you, since I know how much you love it

Now if I had known you're such a wallpapering expert I would have brought you here and put you to work, LOL! My bathrooms need a redo!
Actually, I just need the paper stripped, and then I want to paint in there. Maybe I can just start ripping down what's already falling down, and "force the issue"

Tami
Some frugal meals for my family of 4 are the following
roasted chicken (3 meals eat as roasted, in a noodle/rice dish, shredded in a soup, salad or sandwiches)
Chef Boyardee dbl pizza mix added pepperoni & cheese (3 meals)
beef roast with veggies (2-3 meals as roast with veggies, as stew, shredded for hash or sandwiches)
grilled cheese sandwiches with soup
hamburgers with homemade french fries
chili with corn bread
tacos with lots of lettuce & tomatoes and other veggies
chef salad

Happy Friday!!!! Welcome to FC Liz...

Tonight was defend for yourself. I went out today looking for yard sales, so the kids and I ate at McDonald's, so now if they are hungry they get left over soup or cereal. Which the kids still had food left over from there so they are munching on that still. But tomorrow night it is BBQ Ribs on the grill, baked potaoes, corn on the cob and of corse the kids favorite Mac and Cheese.

Also I know this isn't the place but if anyone has mens jeans size 32 x 34 and you want to sell them, will you please let me know. I can't find none in that size at yard sales around here. Everyone is toooooo short...

Have a Great Weekend!!!!
Hugs, Becky

Welcome Liz to the Wahts For Dinner Thread!!! Look forward to sharing some greats meal ideas with you!

Well tonight was a quick supper kids wanted pizza so I had a Mcain one in the freezer(I got them for 2 dollars at a recent sale) It was enough to feed the 3 kids. Hubby and I had subs and salad. I made those maple Leaf biscuits tonight and we all loved them. I tripled the recipe as I am taking them for our thanksgiving dinner Sunday. I put them in the freezer while still a little warm so they should be fine for sunday.

Hope you all have a great weekend, I may not be back until tuesday

Hugs Debbie

Gee my heart is breaking Barbszy because you forgot the Boost believe that and you will believe anything lol.

Now as to the wall papering I would much rather peel old that put up new but Gina actually does that part. Wet the old down with a sponge and it comes off much easier. Take pix so we can see your finished product. Hugs all

Patty, I have to get the idea past DH first! And with all the rain this weekend, there is no way I'm painting anything. It would NEVER dry! I guess the redecorating will have to wait.

Don't know yet what's for dinner. No one's up but me, and it's the weekend, so most likely DH already has an idea in his head of what he wants to do. And there's not even a football game I can watch today, since my team is having a bye week.

Barbszy you are sooooo right it would take forever to dry if you painted while damp/rainy. But maybe once spring comes you can run it past hubby and he will like the idea especially if YOU are doing the work lol.

We have the kitchen finished except for trimming excess and getting MINE & JUDY'S kitchen back like it should be. I have decided to give Judy and I more work by putting shelf liner in upper cabinets and this ole gal wants new dishes boy am I greedy and think I am rich furthermore.

Dinner tonite is up in the air, nothing new about that here
