Thursday we had cube steaks in the crockpot.. I added potatoes, carrots and onions when I got home (and had to finish cooking the veggies in the microwave)

Friday I made meatloaf, mac n' cheese, green beans

today we're having subway.. I had decided we were going to eat out of the fridge, but it's too hot to fix anything and I decided to treat everyone to subway..

Broccoli, chicken over spaghetti

Wanted something different so made this combination.
It was light and filling. Always use the water from the broccoli and a little
olive oil and grated cheese and mix with spaghetti. Cooked the boneless thighs then cut them in little pieces before adding to the mix. Brought back childhood memories.

I've been getting alot of mileage out the orzo spinach salad I made Monday (in other words, it made a lot!!) We've had it with various grilled things over the past few days: jalapeno cheddar sausages, lean beef patties, pork chops, fish, chicken.... Today I'm grilling a flat iron steak and grilling mushrooms and peppers that have been marinated in olive oil and Serendipity for a couple hours. Love grillin'!!

Italian pork sausage with peppers, potatoes, onion & papaya

Everyone has been talking about Italian sausage. Decided to pick some up today since they were on sale. Cooked them first with water to get out any fat in the turbo cooker. Added peppers, potato, onion and papaya for digestion.
Added some leftover broccoli florets to make it healthier. We were surprised how good it tasted with some tomato added at the end. Guess will be cooking it more often different ways.
