Jayne, Do you know if they were talking about a particular type or brand of toy? I'm wondering what is meant by the "qualifying purchases." My in-laws (& I) like to make a day trip to an outlet mall to shop at their KB outlet. I've found some good buys there & an additional 30% would be great. I just got my LOL newsletter, btw.

I am sleepy on my birthday!

I need some coffee cause I want to stay up tonight and watch the Roseanne Marathon that I missed yesterday...

I did the cake, I'm working on unthawing and cooking up some of the toppings for the homemade pizza. I just need to pick up dd and run to the store for the diet pepsi on sale for .67 cents!!

Then come home, make and eat the pizza, eat the cake and have the pepsi!

Dd got in trouble at school today...hey it's been almost a month, so I'm surprised she lasted this long compared to last year, so having a great day!!!

Your getting so many suggestions, but here's mine on painting your bathroom.

I would use a light green, and white trim. Mint color , then use a big picture/mirror at end of room to make room brighter/larger. Using a picture that is not seashells, something different, or just black/white print is pretty too.

Love to decorate with pictures, I used a large sheet of wrapping paper I found at a book store, it had black kitty's standing in a row, framed it, and have it in my bedroom, on a wall( one wall only) which is sponge painted in red. My dh said the wall looks like it has the measles.

I painted my bathrooms that sound similar to yours recently. I did it in not a mint green but one that borders on that or just lighter.
I have a sink and cupboard area that's big enough for a small fish tank, and as large as possible mirror. I put a couple of fish and shells, on the walls (shapes) in the shower and bath area.
Over my sink and mirror I have a pair of large sand dollars that were sent to me from the US.
My towels give colour and a matching mat.
If there is no window, is a skylight in the ceiling an option?
........... did I describe that right

Dd got into trouble again

she's now on punishment... I made a deep dish pizza, I'm waiting until 7 o'clock here so I can start my Roseanne marathon!!!

Can't wait...I know I'm not celebrating by going to some fancy restaurant or anything but it is frugal, marathon, homemade pizza and cake, and .67 cent soda!!!

Actually Leasmom I LIKE y9our idea of celebrating. To me there is no place quite like home and family.

Thanks for all the input on colors, etc. I'm getting some great ideas and at least one hysterical. This is fun.

Jayne,
Do the sage and cream...my bathroom has verticle striped wallpaper (stripes have ragged edges) that is sage cream white & light blue. Floors are cream tile, which looks good with the paper. My counter top and vanity are peach and woodgrain.....yuck. I'll replace those eventually. I bought a package of those 18 for $5.00? washcloths @ Walmart, and there are sage, blue AND cream ones in it! woo hoo! so....it kinda matches.

One other idea came to mind,

Buy an old wooden window frame, paint it to match your color you decide on for the woodwork, put an outdoor scene in the background, then dress it up with curtains to match a shower curtain, or your towels/rugs in the room.

Love to paint and decorate, wish I was close enough to come and help
