I just have to share my kids' chicken pox story too.

My DS, got the chicken pox from a friend in 2nd grade, two weeks after he got them oldest DD, got them she was in 3rd grade at the time. My at the time youngest DD, was 2 yr old. She did not get the pox from them, in the winter, but the two neighbor kids got them from my kids, then when then youngest dd was 2 1/2 yrs old, she got the chicken pox in the summer from a girl down the street, that she was only around outside for about 15 mins.

She was still in diapers at the time, but there was a plus side to that, I did not wear a diaper on her at night and then realized she was staying dry, and made her go potty, and never looked at another diaper for her again!!! But, no youngest DD, has had the chicken pox shot.
Jayne, the Jack Russell dog that your DD inherited, did it just like "trickle" when it got excited? or was it a constant problem? My DH, inherited a Jack Russell, dog from a friend at work, and everytime he gets excited he wets the floor.

Just what I need right now!

I think it is a medical problem, DH, keeps saying the dog is dumb. I do not have the time to take the dog to the vet right now much less the money. And the previous owners have never taken him, so I will be hit with a huge vet bill, as he will need everything, that a dog needs as far as shots.
This is not really frugal, but, we had fun, we went to the farmers stand this morning and got some decorative gourds, 5/$1 and a funny looking pumpkin for 1.75, and 2 small pumpkins 2/$1. So, I guess they are much cheaper than what I would have paid at the grocery store. I will go again next week and get some more fall decorations-some corn shocks, some hay bales, if the price is right. But, I will definitely be getting the neck pumpkins, and set them out as decorations, then cut up and cook down for baking. Then, I will also get big pumpkins for the kids to decorate, but I don't want to get the big ones too early, or they will rot.
