Lee, you asked about pre school & I'll tell you about my experience last year. My ds has been at home with me & I thought the socialization would be good for him. We ended up taking him out after half of the year. There wasn't really a good system of discipline in place so he was more hyped up & a bigger discipline problem for me when he got home. Also this preschool (at my church) had kids his age & a year younger. I guess the teacher spent more time with the kids who were younger, I don't know. My ds (who is just almost brilliant ;-) ) had known his alphabet & number for ages. After half the year I think they were up to the letter E. He did learn a few things, like he got better at beginning sounds, but mostly he learned how to act crazy like the other kids. I would advise you to check out how the preschool is run & try to observe a class if he does start. I think you do quite a bit with your kids, so his learning level should be fine. If it is just the separation anxiety remember that he will likely mature quite a bit in a years time. I know some preschools are great, so I don't want to be too discouraging. Just don't feel pressured to do it. You have to make the decision that is right for your family & situation.
I HAVEN'T BEEN ON THIS THREAD IN A LONG TIME, BUT JUST HAD TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT DH AND I WILL BE CELEBRATING ANNIVERSARY #32 ON JULY 29TH AND WE ARE VERY PROUD OF IT!

Vickilynn, sorry I wasn't able to answer your question
yesterday...my computer is now hijacked by 3 kids...but right now their at daycamp so I can answer. I bought it from a car-lot and I can take it back but what I'm gonna do is keep it and buy a friend of mines car, she'll sell me her car for only $500. Then I'll sell this one and take it as a lost...but at least I'll have a reliable car. But, I just have to wait until she finds a car but I'm not gonna get this one fixed, just pour the water into it and buy hers.
We don't top the list but on July 15 my DH and I will have been married 26 years.
Frugal today well all summer so far has been only using my car letting hubby's truck stay parked. Since he works 10:00 pm to 6:30 am and I only work 9:00am - 11:00 am 2 days a week during the summer it works fine. Also combining errands so that I only go to the stores once a week on my way home from work.

That's a good idea conserving on gasoline. We have been doing the same and now especially. Our gas went from 1.67 a gallon yesterday to 1.88 a gallon today. From what the newspaper said, we were being undercharged by the national average and someone in Detroit complained:mad:
I try really hard to limit my grocery trips to once a week instead of stopping in for one thing or another during the week. We just make due with what we have till it's time to go again.
Anna
