Amen--oh amen!!! I imagine the same people who buy this buy those incredibly overpriced Longaberger Baskets too.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the fund raisers, and expensive junk. I dread it when the kids bring home the fundraiser stuff, to add to it, they bring it home the first week of school. I wish they would do a bake and/or sub sale, but I figure that the other parents don't feel that way, and would not bake anything, and don't mind spending a fortune to help out the PTA.

well today i have to make soem amish friendship cakes i had starter for. im making 4 of them. 2 for joe to take to work for breakfast tommrow, one for my dad and one for us. so that will be kind of thrifty. plus i have to return a thing of carpet cleaner i got at walmart yesterday, i spent 4 for spot shot, got it home started to use it, nd the spray thing broke, makes me so mad jeeze..and it was working great on the carpet in the new living room too. sigh... not one thing, its a million others. joe brought home a drop cord so i can use the vacume over there(sounds so far away huh, not just 20 feet) and start getting the carpets done. i started washing down the walls yesterday, i got murphys and i will do that again today. jsut to give it a shine, i may even get some old english or some thing.i hate dull woodwork. makes me feel like im not keeping up on top of my cleaning. i got on my hands and knees and scrubbed the kitchen even tho i have no idea why. they have to walk all over it to take out the busted up floor. plus i have to burn it all today too. they say trailers are really flamable..well i couldnt get that floor to burn at all..lol.
so thats my day today. anyone know if you can get copons for places like home depot or anything. i need plywood, paneling, and insulation board for under my trailer, plus tar for the roof. any ideas??? thanks in advance.
have a good day

Joesbaby-

Yes, Lowes and Home Depot have 10% coupons. You have to look around on the site a bit, but somewhere in there they ask if you are moving soon and I would count moving trailers as moving. It does take a couple of weeks, Home Depot I still haven't gotten one from them... very slow. Lowes took about 2 weeks I think.

I have paneling through out my house and Murphys works good.

First off Anna, I hope your feeling better! So you and the dh are going to make the Buckeye necklaces for OSU fans? We used to have a buckeye tree by my house when we were kids, gosh we had so many buckeye necklaces!
Karen,
Yes I hope you get something out of this woman espically if your son loses use of his arm, not to mention she should pay for her actions!
Ericka,
Congrads on getting the trailer moved, I wanted to let you know that I bought this stuff called liquid gold at Walmart I used it after the Murphys on my doors and it works great! I just read the back and its save to use on paneling you may want to check it out.
Jayne,
I own one Longerberger basket but I agree they are crazily priced mine is the smallest and my friend was giving the party so I thought I would be supportive, that was many years ago now I find an excuse not to attend those things...I know someone that has their home filled with them granted they are beautiful but my goodness!

Ericka - that is so great you're able to start working on your trailer. It sounds like you've been really busy!

Karen - I can't believe how stupid that women is that hit your son! To say all that stuff, she deserves to be arrested! I didn't realize your son's arm was so bad. I sure hope it mends well and he can use it. I'll keep him in my prayers!

I've got a busy day today, I'm not sure it's frugal.

Yes, Songberries, my DS's arm is broken right above the elbow, the bone is completely borken apart and then it is fractured up through the center of the bone. He had to have pins put in it to fix it. The surgeon, says there may be some nerve damage that we will not know yet, I don't know how soon we will know. And that he may have to eventually have surgery on it again, he does not know for sure when they will even know for sure, it could be in three months it could be in six months, if they even have to do surgery again. And, if they do they do not know right now if they will just completley take the pins out, or relace them.

So, he actually has stitches, with the brake, he cannot have an actual cast because of the stitches, and was under anesthesia. That is why there was an actual hospital stay.

Karen-

Hope your son is doing better. Pins and bones. My dh broke his foot in school, I think Junior high and had to pins put in, terrible scar on the top of his foot but he can use it very well, except he can't bend it very well (like you would be able to do swimming). He can drive though so while it may look really bleak right now, surgery today I'm sure has come along way from when he had his 20+ years ago. I hope you can sue her it sounds like you are going to have a huge amount of medical bills coming up, I'm sure your insurance will go after hers- she did have insurance I hope?

Lee- yep, we're going to try our hand at the necklaces. We went last night and got the beads. Dh and his friend are looking forward to going out there this weekend, not so much from a economical part but just to have fun and if they make money too that'll be even better. My sister works for Bob Evans near OSU and she said this guy sells them all the time and makes huge amounts of money and if they are homemade you don't need a vendors license.
