No surgery date is set yet. My doctor's (he's just a G.P.) office is trying to set up an appointment with a well known Gynecologic Oncologist in Toledo (about 30-45 min from me). I will need to see the second doctor and go from there.

I have been praying and the church we are members of has me on their prayer list. I will not give up! I have survived 5 other surgerys - two of them were for life threatening issues.

I wish you the best VJumpstart!!!

Well, today I didn't do much...I'm only home for a few minutes while I type this. I had to go take this test this morning, that's after dropping dd off at school and taking all our loose change to the CoinStar. I got $3.73 cents but they took .33 cents of it. I took the $3.40 and put it into the gas tank!

I have a meeting in a minute with the school psychologist. Dd is bipolar and Adhd and while she's doing great for once at school, she's not doing well at home at all! She woke up at 4 this morning, completely awake and kept waking me up. I was mad! I am half sleep even now! So, got to let them know that though she's doing well now, it may not last long. I hope it does but I don't want them thinking there is no reason to provide services for her.

Then it's back home and then back up to the school to pick up dd, then off to the dentist for dd. Then it's home where I will pass out! I think I'm going to get a frozen pizza or something frozen for dinner, so I don't have to cook! I don't have much time anyway.

Took dd to her cheerleading lesson yesterday. Her Grandmother had sent her the $25 for lessons for the month, but when we got there, they said that you pay weekly. They did still take $20 of the dollars though for the registration fee, the short lesson yesterday, and for two more sessions, right. Well, dd had these pom-poms that were shriveled up but they were the only ones we had. I did not want to spend $12 for a pair, esp. when they said it wasn't necessary. Well, everyone else was buying it and dd was very sad and down, so I took my receipt back up there and paid an extra $2 to get her the pom-poms so she didn't feel left out. She perked up then. So, from now on I will save out the $5 a wk in a jar for dd's lessons. Of course, next comes the uniform cost-jeesh!!!

Oh, got our grocery papers today, nothing interesting. They're 10 for $10 items was the best and so this week they don't have very much. One store has the nerve to try to offer .25 cents each on fruits! I guess if you want one peach then it would be a deal!

So, I'll check back later. I'm off to talk to teachers!!

Jayne,
The story about the $200 dollar bill brought back a memory of an article that I read that you would find truly hilarious!!

http://www.goodthink.com/writing/vie...d=11&page_id=2

It's astory about a guy that cashed one of those checks you get in the mail....you know you may have made x amount of dollars.....
it's an extremley long read, but OMG...I was laughing so hard I cried.....it's about a $95,093.35 check this guy cashed, and the actually did, and all that ensued! It's a kick!
Frugal today? Not sure yet....lol...will start a cold water wash here in a few and will stay home to munch supper, guess that is about all.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!

Janet

OMG! My telephone bill is only $26

My dd recieves SSI and I found out through a letter that if you are a SSI recepient you can recieve a discount on your phone bill. So, I called them up and they told me they would apply it this month. Last month my bill was $74! I am so happy! This is a huge difference and will make a big difference for us. I am so glad I called!!!

Well, I finally got around to making my bread today, and it smells yummy. I've got an apple pie started too. I can't think of any other frugal things.

I can't believe tomorrow is 9-11!!!

I was so devastated by 9-11 as everyone was, I still cry when I think of it. I just can't believe it's been 2 yrs since then. I am going to put my flag up. I just hope none of my neighbors wild children take it down.

I am going to watch the specials. I feel like it's important that I do. I know everyone won't do that, but I feel like I should.

I'll be very interested in watching TV tomorrow too. 60 Minutes had an hour with Bush and I actually felt sorry for him, although I don't care for him. It's pecular how you remember exactly what you were doing that day, just like I remember being in math class when they turned the speakers on so we could hear the report of President Kennedy being fatally wounded.

They made an order for everyone to fly their flag at half staff. If you have the kind of flag I had, there's no way to do it, but just displaying the flag will show how much you care for those people who lost their lives that awful day.

Pray our country is safe tomorrow. I don't trust Bin Laden at all. Why they have a hatred for this county is beyond my realm of even thinking about such hostatily.

God bless America and all our troops over there doing their best to keep the peace!
